In March the paperwork was approved by KI to charter a new CKI Club at the Northern Virginia Community College, Alexandria campus, on Beauregard St. in Alexandria.  The Mount Vernon Kiwanis Club is proud to be the sponsoring and chartering organization working in close cooperation with the student leaders at NOVACC to bring this about.  The new club has an astounding 81 charter members, and is off to a quick start in planning and implementing service projects in and around the campus.  As soon as the college administration finsihes its own paperwork, we will schedule a big inaugural party and ceremony there.
