Mount Vernon Kiwanis Club sponsors the K-Kids Club at Stratford Landing Elementary School.  Our Club members work with these children to help them to learn leadership skills, to develop strong moral character, and to encourage loyalty to the school, community and nation.  K-Kids are generally aged 6 to 12 and provide our club members with a constant reminder of what is right in our community. Our Club is proud to help these kids learn and live up to the K-Kids pledge:

"As a K-Kid, I promise to serve my neighborhood and my school, I will show respect toward my environment, and I will try to make the world a better place in which to live".
