This is not to be missed if you love adorable pre-kinder kids who are receiving the first book of their own in their lives in many cases. We buy over 500 books and and give them to about 188 Head Start students three times a year. They choose their own favorite and bring it to us to have their name spelled on special Kiwanis decals that we paste into their new books. Then we wish them well, and ask them to read their new book to their parents that night. Then they troop off to their classes, happy and smiling. Adorable.

Amy Brodie is the 4th grader President of our K-Kids Club at Stratford Landing Elementary School. She was a keynote speaker at the SLP Gala Night in October, where she addressed a large audience, incliuding Governor Tom Ganse, on her Club and its activities and what it means to be a K-Kid. You will be amazed at the poise of this 10-year old leader in front of a crowd. She will take your Qs&As after her presentation.
